I have considerable experience with playing in pits ranging from musical theater to the Pittsburgh Opera.  I am busy, but interested is picking up extra work where I can.  I am available for anything that requires a bass and has written out parts, and I can

 cover upright and/or electric bass roles.  I play regularly in two regional orchestras, so following a conductor and meshing with other players is pretty much the job description, but I miss firing up the electric as well.<br>

I am also available to drop in as a sub.  I have done that many times and can read 2.5 clefs fluently.  I am based in the Akron area and distance willing to be traveled is dependent on schedules and the financial situation.  My soul needs more music.</div>
