– 30s, male, any race/ethnicity. A dorky and awkward nuclear scientist
who has been drafted into the military and into the underground bunker.
Requires intimacy scenes with MARIE (kissing, hugging/cuddling, touching
of the face)</div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">MARIE – 20s
to mid-30s, female, any race/ethnicity. A compassionate and opinionated
woman forced into the bunker at the outset of war. Requires intimacy
scenes with ADAM (kissing, hugging/cuddling, touching of the face)</div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">DANNY
– 30s-40s. any race/ethnicity. Extroverted, blue collar. Brought down
to the bunker with his wife and mother. He is trying to keep a sense of
humor while their isolated life is taking a toll mentally. </div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">About the play:</div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">The
onset of World War 3 forces a select few to live underground in top
secret bunkers. Adam, a nuclear scientist who has been drafted into a
noncombat military position, is struggling to cope with the loneliness
of his subterranean life. His budding relationship with Marie is
changing that, but he worries what will happen when they return to above
ground. The Temptation of Adam is a reflection on the toll that
isolation takes on our lives and relationships, and what we might do
when we are desperate for human connection. This is a fully staged
workshop production of a new play.</div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">Key dates: </div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">Read-through
in late January based on actors’ schedules. Tech week begins March 11.
Performances are the evenings of March 14, 15, and 16 (three
performances).</div><div dir="auto"> </div><div dir="auto">ABOUT THE PROCESS</div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">Rehearsals
will be 3-4 times a week beginning February 4th, with evening weekday
rehearsals and some daytime weekend rehearsals depending on actor
availability. An intimacy coordinator will be at rehearsals to stage
