a Motown type band. Performing Classic R&B/Soul and Pop classics of the
60s, 70s, and 80s by artist such as The Supremes, The Temptations, Smokey
Robinson and The Miracles, The Jackson Five, Chaka Khan & Rufus, Whitney
Houston, James Brown, Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, and many more.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 8pt;line-height:107%;font-size:11pt;font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><b><span style="font-size:12pt;line-height:107%;font-family:"Bell MT",serif">Description: </span></b><span style="font-size:12pt;line-height:107%;font-family:"Bell MT",serif">Background singers enhance the primary
vocalist's performance with harmonies and vocal cues in a song. The
performances call for background/harmony singers who are well versed in (but
not limited to) classic soul, pop, and jazz. Live shows are predominantly
outdoors during the summer and are typically 2-hour shows. Shows are performed
in various cities such as Akron, Medina, Painesville, Cleveland, Kent, Maple
Heights, etc.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 8pt;line-height:107%;font-size:11pt;font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><b><span style="font-size:12pt;line-height:107%;font-family:"Bell MT",serif">Requirements:</span></b><span style="font-size:12pt;line-height:107%;font-family:"Bell MT",serif"> Background singers will consist of male
and female singers with experience singing in live performances (ex. Choir, Musical
Theater, Cabaret, etc.). Performances are one to two times per month at the
minimum between June – September 2024. Performances are outdoors as well as
indoors. 1 weekly rehearsal is required per month: starting in Late March or Early
April 2024. Singers are to adhere to performance schedules and meet deadlines
for rehearsals and events. Singers are not required to have the music
memorized, and can have sheet music, lead sheet, vocal sheets during rehearsals
and performances, however, singers are expected to be prepared for rehearsals
and performances. Must have reliable transportation to and from rehearsal and
performances.</span></p>
