<p style="font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:10pt"> <strong>Subheading:</strong> CVLT presents the Broadway musical adaptation of the seminal 1980 comedy with a score composed by Dolly Parton</p>
<p style="font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:10pt"> CHAGRIN FALLS, OH — Chagrin Valley Little Theatre is "pouring themselves a cup of ambition" as they bring 9 TO 5 THE MUSICAL to the stage, featuring music and lyrics by Dolly Parton and book by Patricia Resnick. This adaptation of the seminal 1980 film will run weekends from March 15 to April 13, 2024, with performances at 7:30 PM on Fridays & Saturdays, and 2 PM matinees on Sun. April 7 & Sat. April 13. <p style="font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:10pt">Directed by Brenton Cochran, with music direction by David W. Coxe and choreography by Jen Justice and Jordon Matthew, this stage adaptation based on the 20th Century Fox Picture promises to entertain audiences with its hilarious tale of friendship, empowerment, and revenge in the Rolodex era. Three unlikely friends, Violet (Tara Corkery), Judy (Stephanie Malfara), and Doralee (MaryBeth Knode), band together to challenge the status quo in their male-dominated office. Faced with the oppressive presence of their obnoxious boss, Franklin Hart, Jr., (Mason Stewart), the trio concocts a daring plan to turn the tables on him and revolutionize the workplace.</p>
<p style="font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:10pt"> The talented cast features Mary Fowler (Roz), Isaac Simer (Joe), George Bailey (Dick), Nathan Cochran (Bob), Cory Bryner (Dwayne), Kyle Harris (Josh), Riss Nawa (Margaret), Abby Longshore (Kathy), Dominic Zoeiller (Mr. Tinsworthy), Erin Stewart (Missy), Michela Palma (Maria), Kaitlyn Regan (Elaine), Molly Marquette (Anita), Ariel Brinker (Daphne), Cameron Olin & Uriah Williams. </p>
<p style="font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:10pt"> The show's scenic, lighting, and sound design are by Tom West. Producer Tom Jones and stage manager Amy McSweeney, along with costumer Wendi Owen promise audiences an evening filled with laughter, heart, and toe-tapping musical numbers. The show was originally produced on Broadway by Robert Greenblatt in April 2009, and CVLT's presentation of "9 to 5 The Musical" is through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI).</p>
