Now that most of the students have started back to school, this is a great time to round out their schedules building more confidence in their lives, creating new friendships that will last a lifetime, and learn new dance skills and polish the dance skills they have already begun.

Ages 2 to 85 are able to take classes. And we have added a new series of MOVE classes offered by Sara Lawerence-Sucato which are for adaptative learners in 5-week sessions to learn various dance styles, including Creative Movement, Popular Dances, Ballet, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Tap, and an opportunity to perform in our annual dance recital.

Our instructors come from a broad background in dance, dance education, adaptive and inclusive dance, special education, occupational therapy, and social work, and are equipped to effectively teach learners with diverse abilities and unique needs.

The benefits of MOVE dance classes for students with physical, intellectual, or developmental disabilities include improvement in balance, coordination, range of motion, fitness, focus, listening, rhythm, musicality, self-esteem, self-expression, and positive social connections.
