<p class="gmail-p3">Actors are invited to audition for <span class="gmail-s2"><b>Killer Competition</b></span>, a darkly comedic new musical by Christina Worchester being produced this summer in <span class="gmail-s2"><b>Wild Oscar’s</b></span>, the intimate theatre space at the Akron Civic Theatre.</p>

<p class="gmail-p3"><i>Killer Competition</i> takes place behind the scenes of a televised singing competition called <span class="gmail-s2"><b>The Summit</b></span>. Ten hopeful contestants arrive believing they’re about to compete for a life-changing prize: $500,000, a record deal, and instant fame.</p>
<p class="gmail-p3">But when one contestant is found dead in their hotel room, the competition takes a deadly turn.</p>
<p class="gmail-p3">With the show forced to continue filming, the remaining singers must navigate rivalries, friendships, budding romance, and growing paranoia as suspicion begins to fall on everyone. Is it an accident… or is someone literally <span class="gmail-s2"><b>killing the competition</b></span>?</p>
<p class="gmail-p3">Blending musical theatre, satire, and murder mystery, <span class="gmail-s2"><b>Killer Competition</b></span> explores ambition, fame, and just how far people will go when the spotlight is on the line.</p>

<p class="gmail-p3">The roles of <span class="gmail-s2"><b>Lizzie Meeks</b></span> and <span class="gmail-s2"><b>Raeanne Cooper</b></span> have already been cast.</p>
<p class="gmail-p3">All other roles are open. The majority of ensemble tracks will <span class="gmail-s2"><b>understudy principal roles</b></span>, and the production will include <span class="gmail-s2"><b>three swings</b></span>.</p>
