There’s only one way to get to Narnia this Christmas…

Magical Theatre Company Presents
The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe

Magical Theatre Company, Northeast Ohio’s professional resident and touring theatre for young audiences and families, announces the opening of C.S. Lewis’ classic, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe on December 1. Based on the 1950 book by C.S. Lewis, this cherished story comes to life on-stage in this faithful adaptation. Wonderful creatures - some oversized puppets, some head pieces - have been made especially for this production by Creature Maker Mark Jenks, including a giant Alsan, unicorns, reindeer, ogres and many others. The struggle for control over Narnia and the triumph of good over evil will delight and enthrall your family. This magical tale of love, faith, and giving is perfect for the holiday season!

Directed by Holly Barkdoll, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe features professional adult actors Geoffrey Williams (Medina) as Alsan, Amanda Kidd (Kent) as the White Witch, Mark Ross (Akron) as Mr. Tumnus, Jerimie Newcomb (Akron) & Deb Lemire (Cuyahoga Falls) as Mr. & Mrs. Beaver, Adam Hoffman (Cuyahoga Falls) as Grumpskin, Craig Raymaley (Las Vegas) as Fenris Ulf, and Bob Parenti (Uniontown) as Father Christmas. Young professionals working alongside the professional adults include Jade Martin (West Akron) as Lucy, Cameron Moss (Akron) as Edmund, Stanley Niekamp (West Akron) as Peter, and Leah Greczanik (Norton) as Susan. A host of creatures are played by Victoria Lorenzon (Richfield), Jason Luck (Copley), Marguerite Martin (Norton), Theodore Martin (Norton), Ali Moss (Akron), and Cosmo Moss (Akron). The production is costumed by Inda Blatch-Geib, who just completed costumes for an Off-Broadway production of “Kris Kringle the Musical” starring Cathy Rigby and Kim Crosby.
