Parma Symphony Orchestra's Fall Concert on Sunday, October 5 at 3:00 PM at Valley Forge High School Auditorium located at 9999 Independence Boulevard in Parma Heights featuring: Robert Dunger performing Samuel Barber’s Violin Concerto, also Symphony no. 1 by William Grant Still, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone by John Williams, Crown Imperial March by William Walton


Robert Dunger holds a Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance from Baldwin-Wallace University and a Master of Music in Violin Performance from Arizona State University. Robert has taught music internationally in Mexico, Kuwait, and South Korea. He currently teaches upper elementary music in Jeju, South Korea. Robert is the grandson of Lucille Coreno, a retired violinist and charter member of the Parma Symphony Orchestra. 

 

The orchestra, in its 56th season, consists of 100 members of all walks of life from all over the entire Greater Cleveland area.  They meet weekly for rehearsals and present at least four concerts annually.  For more information can be found on Facebook,  website www.parmasymphony.org or calling Business Manager Joe Germana 440-882-2012.
