Auditions for Charlotte's Web (adapted by Joseph Robinette from the book by E. B. White)
Sunday, December 9 at 1 p.m. and Tuesday, December 11 at 7 p.m. at Workshop Players Theater

Looking for 14-16 cast members. There is an opportunity for multiple roles in this show. Some puppetry work will also be used. Imagination, character voices and creative stage movement will be required.
Cast of Characters:
Fern: precocious young girl who defends and befriends Wilbur, the runt of a litter of pigs, on her family’s farm.
John Arable: Fern’s pragmatic father. With encouragement from his wife, he allows Fern to care for Wilbur.
Martha Arable: John’s wife. Fern’s mother. Warm and caring and encouraging.
Avery Arable: Fern’s brother. Following in their father’s footsteps, typical brother/sister relationship with Fern.
Homer Zuckerman: Fern’s Uncle. Kind man that takes Wilbur the pig in. Excited and interested in what will happen.
Edith Zuckerman: Fern’s Aunt. Also excited about Wilbur. Loves her family and stands by her husband.
Lurvy: a simple man. Hired hand on the farm.
Wilbur: a pig. Runt of the litter. Originally destined for death until Fern saves him. Wants to be loved.
Templeton: a rat. A sneaky trickster with a heart of gold.
Charlotte: a spider. Loving, calming, protective, motherly. Goes to great cost to help save Wilbur.
