Bring sheet music for voice and piano accompaniment. Belters welcome. Movement as needed.

About the Play: Set in a laundromat in the 1960’s, SUDS is a delightful story of a young teenage girl and four guardian angels who come to teach her about finding true love. The show is loaded with good clean fun, bubbling energy and over 50 well-known songs that topped the charts of the 60’s.
Rehearsals: Sundays thru Thursdays, based on availability beginning with music on Monday, December 17, 2018 thru March 8, 2019. There will a read thru on Saturday, December 8 at 2pm.
Production Dates: Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 pm and Sundays at 2 pm, March 7 thru March 31, 2019
Roles Available: 1 man (playing multiple characters), 3 women
Man:The show incorporates using 1 man playing multiple character types (Mr. Postman, Washer Repairman, Mrs. Halo, Mr. Right, Milt Dudman, Johnny Angel)-20’s-40’s. Pop tenor with some falsetto and bass notes.
Women:Cindy-20’s-A young, sweet, personable, possibly gawky girl. Cindy should have a strong alto and a sweet sounding mix. Low F. Belt to B-flat. Easy mix to D.
Marge-30’s-A tough cookie, larger than life, with brassy red hair, a sharp tongue, and a heart of gold. Strong, controlled pop/rock belt. Tough R&B wail, nice mix for backup
Dee Dee-40’s-Perky and overly enthusiastic, and eternal optimist. Slightly manic, she means well but is liable to wreak havoc at any time. Strong, pop alto & belt, nice mix for backup
