Cleveland Dance Project Company was founded in 2019 as a 501(c)(3) professional contemporary fusion dance company committed to promoting wellness for dancers, educating the community on the benefits of movement for physical and mental health, and creating works that spark thoughtful engagement. CDPCo seeks volunteer Board members for its Board of Directors.

Board members should have the following qualifications:

-Dedicated to organization mission
-Pledge to uphold the organization's Statement of Equity, Diversity, & Inclusion
-Ability to understand and carry out fiduciary responsibilities
-Attendance at minimum of 4 quarterly meetings, plus committee meetings
-Ability and desire to engage in fundraising, sales experience preferred
-Engaged in regular Board business, active on committee(s)
-Contributes to the diversity of identity and experience of the overall Board
-Professional experience that adds to the overall skill set of the Board and contributes to the successful management of the Company
-Ability to listen, analyze, think clearly and creatively, work well with people
-Ethical, professional, engaged
-Connection to dance/arts/wellness a bonus, but not required
