The Tri-C Theatre Department presents:
Bang Bang, You're Dead
Directed by Pamela Harwood
“Bang, Bang You’re Dead” was written to raise awareness of the roots of school violence, which, as William Mastrosimone writes in his notes on the play, are not always easily seen. The plot centers on Josh, a high school student who murders his parents and five classmates. It is based on the events surrounding the shooting by Kip Kinkel of his parents and 27 of his high school classmates at Thurston High School in Oregon in 1998.  Mastrosimone hopes that the play will help people “see tragedy before it happens."
*Please note that this play contains mature subject matter addressing bullying and gun violence in schools. It is recommended for ages 14 and older.  Audience discretion is advised.*
