ASSOCIATE DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR JOB DESCRIPTION
Cleveland Public Theatre (CPT) is hiring the newly created position of Associate Development Director.
This position is responsible for helping to achieve CPT’s fundraising goals, with a focus on administration and staff management. Core departmental work includes donor communications,
special events management, capital campaign coordination, expense management, and grants management, as well as supervising the work of the Donor Relations Associate and the Grants Writer, which include: donor benefits, database management, support services
for internal and external meetings, preparation of donor materials, proofreading and editing, correspondence and documentation related to grants, funder research, and filing systems maintenance. All positions at CPT work across departmental lines, and this
position will be involved in many aspects of the theatre.
CPT is seeking a highly motivated collaborator and manager with excellent organizational abilities, attention to detail, a passion for the arts and the mission of CPT, and
a desire to grow and learn new skills. The successful candidate will be an outstandingly productive go-getter with a positive attitude, deep internal motivation, and experience working with a diverse range of constituents.
