David Bays is a folk-rock singer/songwriter originally from Cleveland Heights. He has recently been putting together his backing band, the Achy Joints, for live shows. He’s been playing and writing music for as long as he can remember and has performed all over Ohio professionally since 2018.

His previous album, “Aspects of Adjustment,” was about his journey transitioning back to normal life after finishing chemotherapy for a lymphoma diagnosis. It chronicles his story of resilient hope, devastating loss, and immense love.

David’s new album, “Limbo Cage”,  was released in early April of 2023. It features a full backing band and the stories of being trapped inside during the COVID pandemic — as well as the rebellion against those who want to take away the future of younger generations.

Expect striking and dramatic rock-inspired guitar and deeply visceral lyrics at this free Gallery Concert performance.
