Part-Time Dance Faculty

The School of Dance, Theatre, and Arts Administration at 

The University of Akron invites applications for their part-time instructor pool.  

The school is currently seeking candidates to teach Dance courses including: 

Modern Dance, Choreography, Ballroom Dance, 

Viewing Dance (General Education Lecture Course).

If selected, teaching assignments would begin Spring semester 2019 (1/14/19-5/5/19)

A typical load is 1-3 credits

Required Qualifications

MA in Dance or allied field with evidence of undergraduate teaching.

Preferred Qualifications

MFA or PhD in Dance or allied field preferred with evidence of undergraduate teaching.
