AUDITIONS

 FOR FUNK/R&B PARTY BAND

We’re looking for 3 Singers. The auditions will be held at the Lakewood Public

Library, Saturday, October 12th, 2019 from 10 am - 5 pm. Here are your next steps:

1). Learn these songs and perform them during the audition:

Singers must be able to sing, dance, and act the part. Songs must be memorized! Stage experience, including choreography, is highly preferred. We’re looking for someone who can energize crowds and elicit audience participation which means doing the same for the judges. 

2). Select your time slot. We have ONE DAY ONLY to audition everyone. CONTACT US TO PICK YOUR SLOT, then get there 15 minutes early to sign in. Slots are available in the A.M. or P.M. Anyone arriving late will be disqualified.

GUIDELINES:

• Drugs and alcohol will not be tolerated at any time during this audition

• Neither food nor drink is permitted in the library

• Cell phone calls and ringtones are not permitted (silence your phones)

• Photography, videography, and sound recording are prohibited

This is not a bar band. You are auditioning for a party band i.e. corporate events, premium weddings, private engagements, and festivals are our venues. The Library is NOT sponsoring this event, so for more information, contact:
