University presents Staged Reading: A
Staged Reading written and directed by senior BFA Acting student, Sam Sommer.
A group of actors is putting on a
staged reading of a play
about a group of actors putting on
a play about a staged
reading. The group tries to
maintain their professionalism,
but they have put a little too
much trust in theatre magic
to save the day. A more unique
take on the meta-slapstick
comedy in which the audience asks,
“how can a show go
wrong if there are no sets, no
costumes, and the actors have
their scripts with them?”
