TAKE ONE WEEK OR BOTH WEEKS AT OUR NEW STATE OF THE ART FACILITY & THEATRE AT 1180 JAYCOX ROAD IN AVON, OH.

This workshop provides the opportunity for young dancers & theatre students ages 8-12 year-olds to actively flourish in a professional, yet nurturing environment. The outstanding, professional faculty members of Lakeshore Ballet Theatre will provide exceptional instruction, while remaining sensitive to the developmental needs of younger dancers & actors.

Classes will be held from approximately 9:30 am to 1:30 pm, Tuesday through Thursday for 2 weeks. The Young Dancer Summer Workshop will focus on building a solid foundation in ballet technique and educating younger dancers about related topics in the world of classical dance. Students will begin each day with a russian ballet technique class and will continue with pre-pointe work, classical jazz, acting for stage & television, musical theatre, dance art and choreography. This will enhance the young dancer’s experience, providing a classical, well-rounded education and facilitating future artistic development.

Students will also get the opportunity to perform in a ballet theatre showcase with LBT's pre- professional dancers during the workshop. Costumes will be provided at a wholesale discounted cost to parents.
