We’re looking for actors ages 8 to 80 to help with a table read Sunday, May 31 at 1 p.m. at the Carnegie Center, 329 W. 10th St., Lorain, Ohio. Blooms of Steel is a musical version of a play commissioned by the Lorain County Metro Parks in 2008 about the history of the community that grew around the steel mill in Lorain. The Lorain Historical Society, in partnership with the Lorain Palace and the Lorain County Community College Theater Department, is producing the musical in the spring of 2016.
