The Saint
Ignatius Theater Intensive is a coed workshop for high school students interested
in possibly pursuing a theater degree in college and/or a professional career
in the arts.
Access the registration form by clicking here.
Running July 9-21 and open to all teens in the Northeast Ohio area, this two week, sixty hour program will prepare them for college auditions while also giving them the tools to thrive in a professional artistic environment (and in a Saint Ignatius production, if the student wishes to get involved).
Areas covered
include:
• Audition Technique and Etiquette
• Monologue and Scene Work
• Fundamentals of Theater and Tech Design
• Business Strategies for the Working Actor or Technician
At the end of the program, students will each perform a monologue and scene showcase that they have also designed from a technical aspect. These monologues and scenes will be audition-ready while the lighting, sound, and set designs will fit nicely in their portfolios. Students will learn from professionals who have worked on Broadway and in Hollywood.
