The Tin Woman

By Sean Grennan

Based on a true story, this thought-provoking piece explores final moments, family relationships, and what it means to be given a second chance at life.  Heart transplant recipient Joy (Diana Nabring) should be celebrating her new life.  Instead, she is in a downward spiral, unsure whether she deserves a second chance.  Meanwhile,  Alice (Pat Robertell-Hudson) and Hank (Jerry Schaber) mourn the loss of their son, Jack (John Leasure), who was Joy’s heart donor.  Darla (Julianne Kuchcinski), Joy’s friend, urges her to track down the family, but Alice, Hank, and their daughter Sammy (Brandi Eaton) are still struggling to accept Jack’s death.
