ABOUT THE CHARACTER

 

Mr. Kris Kringle founded the Inventionasium with a dream and a mission to combine science, magic and creativity with the minds of the most brilliant dreamers from across the great wide open. His team of Inventionasium staff is whimsical and brilliant and he’s working together with the faculty at North Academy and the adventurous Hope Scouts to bring the wonder of the holidays to all and for many seasons to come.

This role offers a performer the unique opportunity for annual recurring performances. Become an unforgettable part of the holiday season for thousands of families. 

Performances take place in Downtown Cleveland at the Inventionasium.

REQUIREMENTS & EXPECTATIONS

ROLE:  Open to men AGES 50+

PAID COMPENSATION: $50-$60/ Hour (Depending on Experience)

QUALIFIED PERSONS MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:

* Outgoing personality

* Jovial; Santa Claus-esque persona
* Sense of humor/Loves to laugh

* Excellence in storytelling
* Ability to sustain heightened characterization and physicality

* Ability to engage crowds with honest enthusiasm

* Loves working with families and children

* Willing to make a difference in a guest’s experience

* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

* Available to work weekends, and some weekdays in November & December

* Must have reliable transportation
* Must have or be able to grow a real beard
* Must be willing to submit to a background check
