Theatre Camp Counselor

Location: French Creek Nature Center

Rate of Pay: $9 to $11 per hour (commensurate with experience)

Job Summary: Under the close supervision of the Camp Director, counselors will assist with the planning, design and implementation of French Creek Theatre’s four weeks of acting camps. All staff will be expected to create and lead theatre-based curricula to large groups of youth (Pre-K - 8^th grade), and assist in all day-to-day camp and facility-related operations as needed. This is a seasonal, part-time position.

REQUIREMENTS

Applicants should:

• have or be working toward a degree in theatre, performance or other related field(s).
• have theatre performance experience.
• have experience working with children.
• have reliable transportation.

Hours:  Training Weeks

June 22-24, 10:00AM-2:00PM- 12 hours

            June 29-July 1, 10:00AM-2:00PM- 12 hours

Camp Week One (Company A)

July 6-10, 9:00AM-3:30PM- 32.5 hours

Camp Week 2 (Company B)

July 13-17, 9:00AM-3:30PM- 32.5 hours

Camp Weeks 2&3 (Drama Tots)

July 20-24, 8:00AM-12:30PM: 22.5 hours

July 27-31, 8:00AM-12:30PM: 22.5 hours
