Presented by Tari Stratton

As part of our Theater Workshop Summit, sponsored by Arts Now, join Tari Stratton, Managing Director of Membership & Outreach for the Dramatists Guild of America—the organization that has championed and protected the rights of playwrights, composers, lyricists, and librettists for more than 100 years—for an insightful and engaging workshop designed for anyone involved in producing theatre.

From navigating the dos and don’ts of licensing to building strong relationships with licensing companies, Tari will pull back the curtain on how successful collaborations happen behind the scenes. Whether you’re a seasoned producer, director, educator, or emerging theatre-maker, this session will give you practical tools, insider knowledge, and a clearer understanding of how to set your production up for success from the very beginning.

If you’ve ever had questions about rights, permissions, contracts, or communication with licensing houses, this is a workshop you won’t want to miss!
