A psychological drama about the
topical epidemic facing our communities
Directed by Angela Miloro-Hansen
Complete and Total is an original play by local playwright Greg Vovos about the dangers of heroin and drug addiction. It follows the story of a high school student with a bright future ahead of him, but heroin and addiction quickly become his top priority. The Mind, the only sober part left of his brain, believes in his ability to become clean, but it’s not that simple.
AUDITIONS:
September 26 and 27 from 6:30-8:30
Ages 12-18 eligible to audition. Students MUST be able to attend school day performances (we will provide a written excuse). Come prepared to read from the script. No appointment necessary.
PERFORMANCES:
A school performance during the day on November 11 at GLTG
Evening performance at GLTG November 12
2-3 school day performances November 14-18, exact times and dates TBA
CHARACTERS:
ERIC HUNTER: A smart and talented young man, about 17 years old. He has a great future ahead of him, but he has a drug problem standing directly in his path.
THE MIND: The lone part of Eric’s brain that still functions strictly on a sober level. He’s smart, relentless, and will not give in. he’s a picture of what Eric used to be before the drugs took hold.
MADISON HUNTER: Eric’s younger sister, about 15. She’s wise beyond her years, full of energy, and cares deeply about her brother. She’s the extrovert of the family and embraces what life has to offer.
HANNAH STRUMMER: A lost soul with a bit of angelic grace to her. She’s broken and addicted. About 17 years old.
BOBBY MADDEN: Also addicted. Somewhat of a wild card. He’s looking for a buzz—any buzz—and he always finds new ways to score. About 17.
