In the Park: It’s the summer solstice and twenty-year-old Michael plans to enjoy a calm, uneventful day with his book at the park, but there’s magic in the air and two chance meetings inspire Michael to alter his plans and potentially his entire future.
Projected Filming Dates: June 2 through June 6, 2024, with rain dates June 9 through June 13, 2024 (outdoor location). This is a student film, so actors will not be paid but snacks and meals will be provided.

MICHAEL [MALE] [20 YEARS OLD – 18 TO EARLY 20s] [ANY RACE] Twenty years old, intelligent, a little nerdy, and somewhat introverted. Enjoys science fiction. Biology major who just finished up his associate degree at Cuyahoga Community College. Transferring to Cleveland State University in the fall. Grew up in the town of Berea, Ohio where the film takes place, home to Baldwin Wallace University. Has taken on a great deal of responsibility in the last few years helping with his little brother after the death of their mother which occurred when Michael was a senior in high school.
MYSTERIOUS GENTLEMAN [MALE] Has been cast.
LILY [FEMALE] [TWENTY YEARS OLD – 18 TO EARLY 20s APPLY] [ANY RACE] [ABILITY TO SPEAK WITH A SPANISH ACCENT OR ANOTHER ACCENT A PLUS, BUT NOT REQUIRED] Twenty years old, from Spain (foreign country/type of accent is flexible). An international student studying at Baldwin Wallace College in Berea, Ohio for the semester. Pretty, vivacious, and adventurous. On an ultimate frisbee team. Theatre and International Studies major. Free spirit with an ethereal glow.
HANNAH [FEMALE] [TWENTY YEARS OLD – 18 TO EARLY 20s APPLY] [ANY RACE] Twenty years old. Lily’s American roommate. A busy college student. A friendly roommate to Lily. Only in one scene.
KID [GENDER NOT-SPECIFIED] [7 – 12 YEARS OLD APPLY] [ANY RACE] A good-natured kid whose soccer ball rolls on the ground by Michael. Has only one word of dialogue - “Thanks!”
The Pizza Guy: A group of friends decide to prank call a local pizzeria, provoking the mentally deranged Pizza Guy. PLEASE NOTE: THE PIZZA GUY FILM is CURRENTLY ACCEPTING VIDEO AUDITIONS ONLY for the following roles:
Charlie (late teens - early twenties) - The levelheaded, kind/loving, apprehensive, smart one of the group. They are usually the voice of reason that gets ignored, but they love their friends anyway despite how poorly they may treat Charlie.
Sam (late teens - early twenties) - The spontaneous, bossy, narcissistic, brave, leader of the group. Sam is a huge Daredevil and loves pulling pranks. Sam does love their friends, Sam can be a bit cruel to them sometimes. Especially towards Charlie when they challenge their orders sometimes.
Bobbi (late teens - early twenties) - The flashy, foolish,
attention-seeking, fun one of the group. Bobbi is Sam's wingman (more like a sidekick). Bobbi will do any and everything for Sam's approval.
The Pizza Guy (late teens - early twenties) - An awkward, antisocial, outcasted kind of guy. He is an employee at the pizzeria M0NST3R P1ZZA and he hates working there. doesn’t interact with people as he’s just trying to get through the day. But when he’s provoked, he’ll resort to murdering his provocateur(s) in a heartbeat.
