Chagrin Valley Little Theatre's production of Beautiful: The Carole King Musical is holding auditions to fill several male ensemble roles. Performers cast may be required for doubling.

Video submissions are accepted and must be submitted by December 15th, 2025.

Audition Requirements

• Please record 32 bars of a song in the theme of the show.
• Record with a karaoke track or accompaniment; a cappella singing is not permitted.
• Include a current resume and headshot with your submission.

Open Male Featured / Ensemble Parts

Bobby Vee – One of the best-selling teen idols of the day.

Neil Sedaka – Contemporary singer-songwriter of the day, who once dated Carole in high school and wrote a song about it.

Bobby Hatfield (Righteous Brother) – Must sing tenor; featured vocalist.

Lou Adler – Speaking role, but a singer is preferred for the Ensemble. (The legendary LA music executive producer.)

Drifters – Two Black males needed. Strong singers who can carry their own line of four-part harmony and good movers who can execute guy group choreography of the day (think The Temptations and The Four Tops).
