Running Mates, by Beth Kander, is a comedy farce about elections in hometown America ... but politics as usual.

Sofia Storm, female, married to Sam, can look 40’s/50’s.

Liddie Valentine, female, Sofia’s best friend, mid 30's.

Ted Wink, male, Sofia and Liddie’s yoga instructor, 20's.

Sam Storm, male, married to Sofia and current mayor of their town, can look 40s/50s.

Jimmy Benjamin, “JB”, Jackson, male, Sam’s campaign manager, 20’s/30’s.

Savannah Storm, female, Sam and Sofia’s daughter and in college, 20’s.

 

Auditions:

Saturday, March 12, 2016 from 2:00 to 5:00pm

Monday, March 14, 2016 from 6:30 to 8:00pm

Photo and resume are not required, but helpful. A short monologue (less than 1 minute), would also be helpful, but not required. Come prepared to read from the script, and do mild improvisation, but don't let that scare you. Sides will be made at the auditions.
