Cleveland Public Theatre (CPT) presents the sophomore year of
SoftLaunch, its most experimental artistic development program to date. Join us for this groundbreaking
festival that seeks to reinvent what theatre and art can be. Patrons get to be part of the art as they immerse themselves in installations and intimate performances. These works burst beyond CPT's theatres into lobbies, hallways, and other unconventional areas.
Pieces exist in various stages of development, giving the audience a crucial role in the creative process. The event will feature 20+ experimental performances and visual art installations ranging in level of completion.

Join us for three weekend double-bills for plays in workshop by some of Cleveland’s most talented playwrights/devisers.
This multi-week series showcases new work on its way to full production. CPT encourages local and national artists to take risks and develop an entrepreneurial spirit toward creating as they co-produce original works-in-progress.
Projects include a dance theatre piece, offerings from Teatro Público de Cleveland,
Masrah Cleveland Al-Arabi, and a mix of comedy and drama for adults of all ages.
