This THURSDAY: Join us for SUMMER CRUSH!
September 18, 2025 from 5 PM to 7 PM in the Detroit Shoreway neighborhood of Cleveland.
We will be listening to live music and crushing spotted lantern flies together as a community!
We will have educational, resources and stickers, some light refreshments, and materials to help us safely (and ecologically) crush the invasive spotted lantern flies. We will also be learning about their invasive host plant Ailanthus altissima aka “tree of heaven”.
We are meeting at the reading garden on the corner of W. 65th St. and Franklin Avenue. There will be maps of the “stomping grounds” available as well.
