Seeking Director - Summer 2022 | Cleveland Shakespeare Festival
Cleveland Shakespeare Festival is seeking an Ohio-based director to mount a comedy (from or inspired by William Shakespeare) for their 25th Season. Interested candidates should submit proposals no later than Monday, September 20 at 11:59pm.

Plays Under Consideration: Comedic plays from the Shakespeare canon, and/or plays inspired by William Shakespeare or his works.
Plays NOT Under Consideration: The Comedy of Errors, Much Ado About Nothing, Twelfth Night
Rehearsals & Timeline: Summer rehearsals to begin in June with opening night slated for Friday, July 22. Exact rehearsal schedule will be determined by director and production team.
Production: All CSF summer shows are produced to tour across northeast Ohio and perform outdoors in parks and recreational areas, with each show being held in a different venue and presented free of charge to all audiences. CSF attracts nearly 5,000 patrons each summer.
Qualifications: Qualified candidates should have previous directing experience, preferably having acquaintance with the works of Shakespeare and/or Outdoor Theatre.
Paid Position: CSF directors are paid a stipend upon opening of show.
