The Brecksville Broadview Heights Community Chorus (BBHCC) is seeking an enthusiastic individual to serve as assistant director/conductor for the 2024-2025 season and to then succeed our retiring Director commencing with the 2025-2026 season. Duties:

The successful candidate will assist with planning, rehearsing, and conducting the chorus.  He/she will attend all rehearsals and sing with the chorus.  Other duties include attendance at Board meetings and recruitment and fundraising activities.

Qualifications:

Minimum baccalaureate degree in music

3-5 years choral conducting experience

Keyboard skills sufficient to conduct a rehearsal if accompanist is not available

Instrumental conducting experience preferred

Ability to work with a wide range of ages, skill levels and backgrounds

Sincere interest in continuing and growing a 30+ year community legacy
