Imagination Nation (Ages 5-7) 10-11am
A fun theater experience that blends beginning theater performance principals, theater games, Mask making, and most importantly imagination!
One Act Wonders (Ages 8 and up) 11-12pm
In this theater workshop students will learn basic acting techniques, set design, prop design, and basic theater terminology while they rehearse a version  of a popular one act fairy tale culminating with a performance  for friends and family on the last day of class.
This highly interactive and engaging class is perfect for the beginning performer or the more advanced student looking to brush up on their skills.

Teacher Bios:
Matthew J. Wilks (One Act Wonders) is a graduate of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City who divides his career between theater and film. Stage highlights include: “Toga Party Terror” at Hilarities Comedy Club in Cleveland. “Gods Favorite” for which he was awarded a Merit in Acting Award from the Ohio Community Theatre Association, and 7 seasons with The Illusion Factory, a professional children’s theatre touring company. Film highlights include: Technically Marvin (Cleveland Film Festival), Draft Day, Cleveland Abduction, and the Netflix film Little Evil. In addition to performing he is also a Director and Acting Teacher at several theaters throughout Northeast Ohio.
 
Katie Wells (Imagination Nation) After attending Cleveland State University where she majored in Acting and Costume Design she has been performing professionally throughout Ohio and New York. Children's Theatre and teaching has been a special passion of hers for years. Teaching experience includes: workshops and summer camps with The Illusion Factory, acting workshops with Little Vikings Children's Theatre, Shakespeare workshops at Garfield Heights High School, and a TA position at Cleveland State for the Intro To Costume Design class. She is also an award winning costume designer with a Certificate of Merit from the Kennedy Center for Performing arts for her work on In The Blood at CSU and two Best Costume Design awards from BroadwayWorld.com's Best of Cleveland Awards in 2014.  This spring she is directing The Vagina Monologues at Avenue Arts Marketplace and Theatre in Canton and playing the role of Olivia in Twelfth Night at Rubber City Theatre here in Akron.
