Social Media and Marketing Intern

Footsteps Media, LLC is searching for a Social Media and Marketing Intern to help launch and promote audio fiction podcasts. The Social Media Intern is responsible for coordinating and executing the production company’s social media strategy and working across key social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, Patreon and Instagram. We are looking for someone to join the team immediately. We offer a weekly stipend and are open to working with the right candidate to coordinate college credit if possible.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop effective social media strategy to launch the first season of a new audio fiction podcast
• Maintain/grow online social networks by increasing fan-base and social interactions for two podcasts
• Engage with the audio fiction community on Twitter and Reddit
• Help identify and implement new creative concepts for podcast marketing
• Set-up Patreon account and work with leadership to develop and implement strategies to identify and cultivate potential donors
• Monitor and post on blogs, forums, and social networks
• Online outreach and promotion using Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Reddit
• Review data on the performance of social media platforms and adjust plans or strategies to optimize outreach
• Perform research to find articles, stories, resources or other content that is relevant

Requirements

• Creative self-starter who is comfortable taking initiative and working with Producers
• Strong communication/writing skills and creative thinking
• Familiarity with mainstream social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, Instagram, etc
• Familiarity with social media analytics to assess trends and Twitter analytics and keyword analysis
