Director LAUREL BRYANT is holding open auditions for "The Underpants" on Sunday, February 25th and Monday 26th at 7pm in CVLT's River Street Playhouse, 56 River Street in Chagrin Falls OH

 

Performances will be on Fridays and Saturdays, April 27th - May 12th with Sunday matinee on Sunday May 6th.

 

"The Underpants" is comedic legend Steve Martin's adaptation of a wild satire by Carl Sternheim. It's the story of a conservative couple whose lives are turned upside down when the Mrs. accidentally exposes her underwear in public, attracting the attentions of two infatuated men.

 

Actors should be prepared to read selected scenes from script and have some fun! No appointments required.

 

 

Theo Maske (40's or 50;s) - a burly, muscular and fireplug of a man. Very sensitive and over dramatic.

 

Louise Maske (20's) - Theo's wife, attractive and a dreamer

 

Gertrude Deuter (30's or 40's) - a busybody and nosy neighbor

 

Frank Versati (20's or 30's) - A poet and elegant gentleman

 

Benjamin Cohen (20's or 30's) - A sad, sickly and asthmatic man

 

Klinglehoff - An elderly man
