Responsibilities:

•Hire/supervise Associate Technical Director, 6 IATSEcarpenters; wok closely with Charge Scenic Artist

•lAnalyze scripts and designer technical drawings to estimate materials/labor

• Create schedules; manage construction, load-in, installation, tech rehearsal, strike

• Create Vectorworks and CAD construction drawings from designer plates

• Implement scenic automation (Creative Connors), scenic construction, welding, pneumatics, stage rigging

• Communicate with designers to execute designs with high artistic standards within time, labor, materials, budget

• Cultivate a collaborative, inclusive, anti-racist culture

• Purchase/track scenic expenses

• Oversee shop maintenance, equipment, rigging, stock

M-F 8am-4:30pm and tech and preview performances includingsome evenings and weekends

Salary range $66,000 - $75,000 annually. Comprehensive benefits package includes group medical health insurance with CPH contributing portion of premium; additional dental, vision…etc. Paid vacation, company and discretionary holidays;401(K).
