Convergence-continuum will be holding auditions for the NEOMFA Playwrights Festival this Friday (Jan. 6) at 7:30 pm and Saturday (Jan. 7) at 11:00 am at the Liminis Theater, 2438 Scranton Rd, Cleveland 44113.  You can come either date. Or both if you like. But please be here at the beginning of the audition period (i.e. at either 7:30 or 11:00.) No advance preparation is required. You will be reading in groups from the scripts. 

There will be two full-length plays this year.  The first one goes up Feb 9, 10 and 11. The second will take the stage on Feb 16, 17 and 18.  Read-throughs and rehearsals will begin as soon as possible after casting.  We'll need a total of 11 actors (6-7 male, 4-5 female) of various ages, races, shapes and sizes.

Play 1:  The Darkness by Katie Wallace, Renee Schilling and Rob Daniels. 2m, 2f   (Feb 9-11), directed by Jonathan Wilhelm.

Play 2:  Sexual Politics by Jaclyn Cifranic.  4 or 5 m, 3 or 4f  (Feb 16-18), directed by Geoffrey Hoffman.

FYI for those of you haven't participated before.  The rehearsal period is short and intensive, and can get crazy and fun as you workshop and help shape a new play.  Then you're onstage for one weekend in front of full houses, before you collect your check.
