Join us for this special EVEnt!
*Thursday, March 26, 2026; 6:30 p.m.: See the new
documentary, VICTORIA WOODHULL: SHATTERING GLASS CEILINGS about our
first female Presidential Candidate. The South Newbury Union
Chapel will host this screening at the Kent State University Geauga Campus
at 14111 Claridon-Troy Road in Burton, Ohio at the Clark Commons. Ohioan
Victoria Woodhull ran in 1872 at a time when women didn't even have the right
to vote. As if that isn't bad enough -- she wasn't even old enough to BE
president if she had won! The presentation is FREE and open to the public. For
more information, e-mail the
South Newbury Union Chapel.
Can't make it? No problem - you can see the
film on Vimeo!
Victoria's story is the most recent film produced by Eden Valley and
FilmAffects. It joins the Emmy-nominated documentary, TRAIL MAGIC: THE GRANDMA GATEWOOD STORY. We want to make
sure that these stories are not forgotten and so we are planning to
produce a special edition DVD set. To make this happen, we need to raise $2,000
— and we need your help to cross the finish line. Your gift will directly fund
the production and distribution of these DVDs. By contributing, you aren't just
buying plastic and discs — you are preserving the voices of women who refused
to be told "no". We hope you can help us with this
project. You can donate with a credit card, or send a check to
Eden Valley Enterprises at 1250 East River St., Elyria, Ohio 44035. Thank
you for your support!
Eden Valley is a not-for-profit corporation under section 501(c)(3) of the
Internal Revenue code. All donations are tax deductible.

To arrange for these, or any of our programs, for your group, simply respond to
this e-mail with your request. We'd be happy to celebrate with you!
Any relation between our programs and a boring old history lesson is purely
accidental. We tell the stories that others forget!
