As part of the 2016 - 2017 collaborative season, The Studio Series: Extraordinary Circumstances, Lake Erie College Department of Theatre and Rabbit Run Theater announce open auditions for the upcoming production of “Proof”.

 

“Proof” by David Auburn is directed by Dr. Jerry C. Jaffe, Associate Professor of Theatre, Lake Erie College.

 

Auditions are Tuesday, Feb. 14, and Wednesday, Feb. 15, at 5:00 p.m. both nights at the Royce Hall for the Fine and Performing Arts on the campus of Lake Erie College.  

 

On the eve of her 25th birthday, Catherine has spent years caring for her brilliant but un-stable father, a famous mathematician. Unforeseen events complicate matters, bringing the arrival of an estranged sister as well as a former student.  

 

Auditions will consist of readings from the script. No monologue need be prepared.  Available roles include one female in her twenties, one male and one female in their thirties and one male, age 50 or older.

 

Performance dates are Mar. 31 through Apr. 9.  All performances are at the C.K. Rickel Theatre in the Royce Hall for the Fine and Performing Arts on the campus of Lake Erie College, 391 West Washington St., Painesville, OH.  Access to the theater is off of Gillette St. in Painesville.
