'Misery' Boldly Brings
Stephen King's Terrific Thriller
to the Stage at Great Lakes Theater
It's not often so much misery can make so make people happy, but that's exactly what is happening down at the Hanna Theatre, where Great Lakes Theater is staging Stephen King's classic novel Misery through March 11.
The premise is deliciously devious -- when a successful writer crashes his car in a winter storm, his "number one fan" just happens to be there to save him. Unfortunately, his recovery depends on how satisfied she is with the new book he is writing... and let's just say she's not happy with the less-than-happy ending!
