Auditions! 

The Tri-C Theatre Department announces auditions for the Western Campus Theatre production of:

Electric Dread 
Written by Ian Moore,  Directed by James Rankin 

The year is 2109 and Adrian 131-515-235 has just been assigned a career by the function center. 

He’s told he must press a single red button periodically throughout the day.

 No one will tell him what the button does, only that there are grave consequences for not complying…  



ADRIAN, An unconfident young man. In his early 20’s.

COMPUTER, A caring nervous female machine. Her face is a screen that shows various cartoon faces. 

FUNCTION MANAGER, A very bored woman. Early 30’s to mid 50’s. Speaks with a British accent. 

JAMES, Very friendly man. In his mid 20’s.

CLAIRE, A vacant young woman. In her Early 20’s. She looks to be very late into pregnancy. 

DANIEL, A deeply miserable mean spirited man. In his early to mid 30’s.

SAM, A very religious woman. In her Mid 20’s. Speaks with a southern accent. 

ERIC, A passionately artistic man. Early 20’s. Dressed in a paint splattered white shirt. 



To be performed at Tri-C West Theatre February 21st – 25th 

Auditions: Thursday, January 18th at 6pm at Tri-C WEST Theatre
11000 West Pleasant Valley Road, Parma, OH 44130 

Audition requirements: Please bring headshot and resume (if available), be prepared to read from the script, and be dressed to move. 
A monologue is not necessary, but welcome (60-90 seconds). No appointment needed. Auditions begin promptly at 6pm.
