ABOUT

Playwrights Local presents “Millwood Outpost” by Cleveland-based author Tom Hayes. This new drama runs from March 18 through April 2 at Creative Space at Waterloo Arts in North Collinwood. Directed by Rachel Zake, the production features Joe Milan, August Scarpelli, Zach Palumbo, Sean Seibert, Quin Johnson, Tom Hayes, and Juliette Regnier. The creative team includes Walter Boswell (set designer), Eva Nel Brettrager (stage manager), Andrew Kaletta (lighting designer), Beau Reinker (sound designer), and Lisa L. Wiley (props designer).

SYNOPSIS

Confined on a stormy day, six highway workers are forced to share one room in an abandoned Department of Transportation outpost. Over the course of several hours, the men must confront their own fears, prejudices, and beliefs, and those of each other, while elemental forces outside threaten them all.
