CONVERGENCE-CONTINUUM PRESENTS A WORKSHOP PRODUCTION OF A NEW WORK

AND ALL THE DEAD LIE DOWN BY HARRISON DAVID RIVERS

OPENING FRIDAY, JULY 6 AT THE LIMINIS THEATER

And All the Dead Lie Down is the story of a sero-discordant, interracial gay couple (Foss is HIV+, Alvin is not) dealing with their mixed status relationship, stigmatization, the importance of connection to family (or lack thereof) and their very different backgrounds.  When an unexpected visit by Foss’ shady, miscreant brother Danny upsets their usual Saturday routine, the couple must navigate a minefield of long suppressed resentments, past histories and hurt feelings, bringing them to a crossroads pondering the questions: Is Love enough to sustain a relationship? And is it worth the risk?

And All the Dead Lie Down is directed by Ismael Lara.  The cast features actors Brenton Sullivan, MJ Mihalic and Anthony Lanier.

And All the Dead Lie Down opens this Friday, July 6 and runs Thurs-Sat at 8 pm through July 28 at the Liminis Theater, 2438 Scranton Rd, Cleveland 44113 in the historic Tremont neighborhood.

Fri & Sat tickets are $20 general admission, $15 seniors (65+), $10 students. Thurs discount tickets are $15, $12 and $8.

Reservations and information at convergence-continuum.org and 216-687-0074.

Following the Thursday performances (July 12, 19 and 26), con-con will be hosting post-show panel conversations in partnership with representatives from The LGBT Center of Greater Cleveland, Recovery Resources, and a POZ identifying community member. In addition, our partners will be offering free HIV testing and other safe sex resources on these evenings.
