Roles will be cast before general workshop registration on 4/16/16.
If cast, cost is $300 for GLTG members, $315 non-members

School of Rock requires five of the leads to play instruments on stage as part of the band!
Drums, guitar, electric guitar, keyboard and cello!
It is an open auditioned, selective process.
AUDITIONS MUST BE ATTENDED TO BE CONSIDERED
Intensive day workshops included,
How to Rock & Roll, Musical Theatre and Appreciation, Improvisation,
Backstage, Tech, and Stage Management
Everyone will receive vocal, acting, and dance instruction.
The tuition price also includes a cast and crew trip and tour of the Cleveland Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
***Please note that there is the use of some language in School of Rock.
Although it will be toned down, many of the characters (including the kids)
will be expected to say some mild curse words onstage.***

School of Rock is currently on Broadway.
INFORMATION FOR AUDITIONS:
Please prepare 16 bars of a contemporary Broadway song.
You are welcome to play an instrument along with your song.
An accompanist will be provided.
If you are auditioning for Dewey, Katie, Zach, Freddie,
or Lawrence and are able to play their respective instruments,
please be prepared to demonstrate an additional 16 bars of a song

Rosalie Mullins Range: Mezzo-Soprano, B3-D6
Ned Schneebly Range: Baritone, C3-F#4
Patty Range: Soprano, C4-E5
Summer Range: Mezzo-Soprano, A3-D#5
Tomika Range: Mezzo-Soprano, B3-D5
Zach Mooneyham (Guitar) Range: Tenor, A3-C#5
Freddie (Drums) Range: Tenor, A3-C#5
Billy Range: Tenor, B3-C#5
Marcy, Shonelle, Sophie, Mason, James, Madison
An ensemble of 10 will play the teachers, parents, and battle of the bands characters. Multiple lines and solos available for these parts.
