Willoughby Summer Theater Festival Auditions
The Willoughby Summer Theater Festival is holding auditions for its 6th summer season featuring two exciting productions. Performances are free to the public and will feature talented performers from across Northeast Ohio.
This season includes Murder on the Orient Express, a fully staged production of Agatha Christie’s classic mystery, and Salute to America Celebrating 250 Years, a musical review honoring the 250th anniversary of the United States featuring song, music, and spoken word. A small stipend is available for performers in Salute to America.

Saturday March 28, 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM
Sunday March 29, 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM

What to Prepare
For Salute to America bring a song in the style of the show (about 3 minutes) with sheet music for the accompanist.
For Murder on the Orient Express prepare a memorized monologue (about 90 seconds). Actors may also be asked to read from the script.
Teen and adult performers are encouraged to audition. These are community productions and not limited to students.
Rehearsals begin June 22.
Salute to America performances run July 18 through August 7 in communities including Willoughby, Wickliffe, Euclid, and Mentor.
Murder on the Orient Express performances take place July 24 through August 2 at Andrews Osborne Academy.
