BEREA, OH – The Department of Theatre and Dance at Baldwin Wallace University presents Marginalia: Interplay With Edgar Allan Poe directed by Sara Whale.

We are all familiar with Poe’s tales of horror and the macabre, but did you know his prolificacy also included comedy, criticism and marginalia, the dying act of creating discourse with written works by making notes in the margins?  This evening of dance/theatre combines Poe’s poetic text with movement as a means of heightening the viewer’s interpretation of some of his classics…and lesser known works, while honoring the era of the book…the one you can touch, feel and write in.
