THE 25th ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE!

AUDITIONS WILL TAKE PLACE IN THE W.G. FRY THEATRE LOCATED INSIDE THE CULTURAL CENTER FOR THE ARTS!!
Located at 1001 Market Ave. N Canton, Ohio 44702

SYNOPSIS: An eclectic group of six mid-pubescents vie for the spelling championship of a lifetime. While candidly disclosing hilarious and touching stories from their home lives, the tweens spell their way through a series of (potentially made-up) words, hoping never to hear the soul-crushing, pout-inducing, life un-affirming "ding" of the bell that signals a spelling mistake. Six spellers enter; one speller leaves! At least the losers get a juice box.

Auditions will be held on Monday, November 7th and Tuesday, November 8th from 7-9pm
Callbacks (if necessary) will take place later in the week, date TBD.

All auditioners are asked to come prepared with 32 bars of a prepared song in the appropriate key that reflects the style of the show (please do not sing from the show). An accompanist will be provided.

At this time, there are no stipends and/or AEA contracts being offered!

VACCINATION INFO: In order to be considered for casting, all auditioners are required to provide proof of vaccination at their scheduled audition time. All cast/crew are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in order to work on this project.

Performances: January 27th-February 5th (Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 2pm)
