Calling All Imaginary Friends!

The Manhattan Project is seeking your unique,
imaginary life experiences!

The Manhattan Project, in association with the Marcus Alonzo Hanna Foundation, in association with the Tyler Durden Memorial Endowment, in association with CNN Fake News, in association with the Association of Cleveland Cultural Associations, is thrilled to whisper in your teddy bear's ear to announce our FIRST, totally real, ANNUAL, seriously not making this up, Imaginary Playwrights' Festival!

What is the Manhattan Project Imaginary Playwrights' Festival?

The Manhattan Project has always been committed to filling our stage with diverse faces and voices, and we're continuing that mission by offering a platform to America's least represented playwrights; those who do not actually have faces or voices.

The Imaginary Playwrights' Festival will offer guidance and support to imaginary playwrights as they work to bring their hypothetical plays from the pretend page to the non-corporeal stage. Imaginary playwrights will work with a daydream director and make-believe actors to create an exciting, edgy, worthwhile play that will somehow appeal to mainstream regional theatre audiences. Imaginary playwrights will each be assigned their own dramaturg who will be helpful and informative.

Imaginary playwrights will also have the opportunity to take advantage of exciting master classes taught by some of theatre's most thrilling imaginary playwrights, including Mr Snuffleupagus, Harvey the Rabbit, and America's favorite fairytale creature, Erin Mallon!

Participation in The Imaginary Playwrights' Festival includes a $500 stipend for meals and magical blanket to protect you from the dark.

A Message from Our Literary Manager:

Raise a Glass to
The Marcus Alonzo Hanna Foundation!

The Manhattan Project Imaginary Playwrights' Festival was made possible by a generous $30,000 grant from the Marcus Alonzo Hanna Foundation.

The MAHF has been a steadfast patron of The Manhattan Project as well as other beloved Cleveland institutions like the Ohio Pierogie Museum, Snaketoberfest, and Frank Jackson's latest mayoral campaign!

Note: Imaginary playwrights receive $500 for food and magical blanket expenses.  The rest of the graft--we mean grant is directed towards supporting the Imaginary Playwrights' Festival in the form of imaginary actor expenses, imaginary overhead, and a real live horse!

I'M GETTING A HORSE!!!  :)
