Come support Oberlin College Theater in its second MainStage production of the 22/23 season, Ophelia: A Prism, led by two Oberlin College alumni guest artists! Ophelia: A Prism by Mieko Gavia, directed by Heather Harvey, shifts focus from Shakespeare's Hamlet to the ingénue Ophelia- or rather, three aspects of herself. These contrasting Sister Selves (Green, Brass, and Orange) take control of the original narrative to tell their own story of Black Femme joy, oppression, and resilience.
