Ohio Youth Ensemble Stage returns to present “Disney, The Jungle Book Kids!” 
Medina, Ohio, June 18 , 2018—To coincide with its two year anniversary, Ohio Youth Ensemble Stage (OHYES) will present a delightful classic musical, “The Jungle Book Kids!” Based on the novel by Rudyard Kipling and the Disney film, “The Jungle Book Kids” will be presented at the Haddad Theatre, 144 N Broadway Street, Medina, OH. Performances are Thursday, June 28 at 7 PM, Friday, June 29 at 7 PM, Saturday, June 30 at 2 PM and 7 PM, and Sunday, July 1 at 2 PM. Tickets are $10. “The Jungle Book Kids” will be under the direction of Ansley Valentine with program administration by Zoe Alberts. Music direction is by Malik Khalfani, stage management by Andrew Nemec, with set and lighting design by Tom West. Production assistance is by Logan Bowers and Abby Weyls, run crew by Philip Alberts and Anthony Pritchard. “The Jungle Book Kids” marks the second production for OHYES! since their name change in 2016.
According to Alberts, “‘The Jungle Book Kids’ features a cast from elementary through high school age students ranging from first-time performers to veterans. OHYES! welcomes students and families at all levels of experience because we believe every child deserves to be a star on stage. Every member of the cast and crew has worked incredibly hard for a final product we can all be proud of.”
The production includes students from Medina, Summit and Cuyahoga counties. “The Jungle Book Kids” will be led by Ian McLaughlin as Mowgli, Emileo Fernandez as Bagheera, Trey Smith as Baloo, Owen Kranz as Shere Khan, Rebecca Marzloff as Shanti, Makenna Byrne as King Louie, Ian Blair as Colonel Hathi, Sid Kranz as Dizzy the Vulture, Isabelle George as Ziggy the Vulture, and Bridget Chandler-Holtz as Kaa. Kaa’s Coils will be played by Riley Hayes, Emily Winnicky, Madison Schaner, Ella Barberic, and Bree Obhof. 
The Monkeys will be played by Lilah Baird, McKayla Bergman, Alyssa Bergman, Allison Custer, Nevaeh Davis, Kathryn George, Sammy George, Xiamara Glover, Avery Jankowski, Amara Kufner, Lily Obhof, Shannon Petrulis, Madelyn Petrulis, Avery Pyo, Amelia Talbert, Annaliese Vanover, and Stevie Zingaro. Jonas Bair will play Silly Monkey, Nataley Davis as Sassy Monkey, Vincent Pritchard as Grumpy Monkey, Vance Smith as Old Monkey, and Joey Swihart as Monkey Dancer. 
The Elephants will be played by Lexi Budd, Samantha Budd, Lexi Dacek, Abigayle Grassa, Grace Heed, Amelia Hicks, Savannah Kemp, Isabelle Pritchard, and Sophia Ricci. Brian Pritchard will play Baby Elephant. 
The Wolves will be played by Samantha Budd, Lexi Dacek, Amelia Hicks, and Savannah Kemp. Grace Heed will play Wolf Mother. 
The Jungle will be played by Anna Ambro, Lexi Budd, Allison Custer, Nevaeh Davis, Addison Dressel, Avery Jankowski, Brooke Milewski, Marin Radabaugh, Adriana Thomas, and Sophia Thomas. Chloe Galletti will play Jungle Lotus, Kadence Glawe as Jungle Banyan, and Nicole Rawlins as Jungle Thistle. 
The Bees will be played by Anna Ambro, Lexi Budd, Addison Dressel, Avery Jankowski, Brooke Milewski, Marin Radabaugh, Nicole Rawlins, Amelia Talbert, Adriana Thomas, and Sophia Thomas.
